The EL950 is an industrial-standard Picosecond Laser system engineered for the permanent removal of multi-color tattoos and complex dermal pigmentations. Unlike traditional Q-switched lasers that rely on thermal action, the EL950 utilizes an ultra-short pulse duration (approx. 350-750ps) to create a powerful photo-mechanical impact. This “pressure wave” effect shatters ink particles into microscopic dust-like fragments, allowing for faster lymphatic clearance, fewer treatment sessions, and minimal thermal damage to surrounding skin tissue.

Operating Principle: The Picosecond Advantage

The EL950 operates on the principle of Selective Photothermolysis, optimized by ultra-short pulse widths. By delivering energy in trillionths of a second, the laser intensity creates an intense mechanical vibration (Shockwave) within the target pigment. This fragmentation process is significantly more efficient than nanosecond technology, enabling the treatment of stubborn inks (such as green and blue) and recalcitrant tattoos that have stopped responding to conventional laser therapy.
